It's a lovely spring day here, warm but not hot, sunny, with green stretching out to the east. I rode my bike in this morning, which is ecologically sound and good exercise.
This morning, I had a verbal argument with a magpie. AND I found that Shepherd Foods sells American Quaker Instant Oatmeal, so there will be apple & cinnamon oatmeal here for you to share.
That sounds veeery tempting. Apple and cinnamon instant oatmeal is something Anna and I had all the time when we lived in Qatar (where everything was imported from the us) and still miss :)
It's probably not something which would appeal to everyone, but the current weather of heat and rain reminds me of my childhood and makes me feel loved and protected. And there is always the prospect that the rainy weather will turn into a crisp, sunny morning where all the soot has been washed away. Also, seeing your photos and your comments on flickr last week, really made me smile and miss you. *hug*

http://www.housd.net Start from the first one, it's like a series with story lines. :o) My favourite web comic. Otherwise: don't ask me, I'm the most depressive person you know... :o/
I do understand what you mean, at the same time as thinking that you would be surprised by just how depressive some of my friends (and myself) are. *hugs*
Amy is extremely cute and on the verge of being able to stand up and toddle unsupported. She can already toddle when she stands up holding onto the brick-cart and her wide wide smile as when crosses the floor towards you is just fabulous.
I shall have to see that some time :) It's so completely boggling she's so very close to being 1! Where did that year go?
I am also much happier now as Anna gave in and bought will of the empress with early birthday money, and so far I'm liking it (although I want to bang their heads together quite frequently :) ).
My friend's seven (ish) year old son has been enthused by his school about Florence Nightingale. What they don't know is that this enthusiasm is apparently accompanied by a full list of D&D magic items that Florrie might have been carrying :-)
