I woke up this morning with my throat feeling horrible... I have forced myself myself not to sing all day(which i find very hard to do, I've only sing twice though and i caught myself after a line). It has gotten better over the day, but still hurts...

On a lighter note I managed to wow my teacher with my dragons, aside from them being really cool, all she had expected me to do was find some wires, not spend hours actually making the things without being asked.

I can never decide what the worst part of a cold is - sore throat, stuffed nose, running nose, sneezing or coughing. Probably whichever part I have at the time. But if I had to pick one to avoid it'd probably be the sore throat. *sympathy*

I recommend Strepsils and Beechams All-in-one. (Not to be confused with Castrol 3-in-1...)

The worst part for me is the fact that on most decent cold meds, they tell you not to drink alcohol...

Advantages of being a non-drinker, number N of many... *grin*

(Actually, I think the Beecham's All-in-one is alcohol-based. Or if not, it certainly leaves a similar warm sensation down the throat after it has gone down!)

it doesn't appear to be (i have the bottle in front of me).
The main problem with this stupid thing that i don't have stuffy nose or anything else, its just this and a headache. I have managed just about not to sing today, but i sing all the time without noticing, in fact, i sing the least at filk events.
