Interview-questions from

Jun. 5th, 2003 05:30 pm1. What's it like growing up a "filk kid"? Child abuse - mostly of the musical variety?
I did not really grow up in a filk family, as Dad stopped conventioning before I was born and started again 2 and a 1/2 years ago. Mum does not like people to think she is 'weird.
However, I did get introduced to filk like things, lots of Tom Lehrer and at least one filk song Dad wrote are what I have listened to most of my life. It was fun, especially as it led to my lack of mundanity(?).
2. What do you see yourself doing in ten years?
Probably finished in uni (possibly not), doing something in maths or chemistry. If I'm not living in England still, possibly Germany(where I would like to live at some point).
3. Tony Blair - savior of the people or sperm of the devil?
The latter.
4. What comics do you read regularly?
Since my local shop closed down it's been harder to get things every month, so I usually get things every few months.
Uncanny x-men(mainly because Chamber went there when generation x finished)
Out There(because anna buys it)
Young Justice(but thats finished now, anna's friend lent them to us every month though)
5. Which genre do you like best - superheroes, horror, drama, etc. and why?
Well it depends on what it is:
Books:I like fantasy (and sometimes science fiction, but Lois McMaster Bujold is the only sf author I found who I really liked). Probably because it can take me away to another world where different things happen, also because I like some action in my books, not battle after battle necessarily, but something. You usually get that.
Films:I like most things, except horror, which bores me. Some films I absolutely hate, even if I like the genre. My favorite films are rather spread in different genres, if I count disney as a genre.
I can not think of other things at the moment.
If you want to interview me ask the questions in a comment, if you want me to interview you ask in a comment.
